The Water4Kids Project

Water4Kids needs your help to send 3500 water filters along with other essential aid to families with children, trying to survive in destroyed homes on the front lines.

The units we are proposing are effectively simple. Two stainless steel containers, on top of each other. The bottom one has a stainless-steel tap. The top provides filtration by a multilayered ceramic candle that gravity feeds polluted water from above through the candle, dripping clean potable water into the bottom.

The filtration units come in three sizes which, for efficient freighting, nestle inside each other. These units are light-weight, strong and simple to use.

An additional part to our aid mission, running parallel, is to secure and pack useful items inside the empty drums, prior to shipment into Ukraine. The goal is to fill each drum with some additional life-sustaining items such as vitamin C, survival blankets, first aid supplies, fire starters, portable lights, disinfection materials, school supplies and, for children’s delight, blocks of chocolate.
